LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is known for his role as King James and is considered to be one of the best basketball players ever. James has been awarded four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs Three All-Star MVPs, as well as two Olympic medals. James has scored the most points during the playoffs, and has the second highest number of career points and is seventh in ever assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All-NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. In total, he participated in the 10 NBA Finals, the third-most ever. The streak spans eight consecutive years between 2011-2018. James was picked as a part of the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player to ever score at least 10,000 points in a career. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a future NBA star. To prepare for the pro game it was it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the first pick overall in the NBA draft of 2003. When he was named the 2004 NBA Rookie Of The Year, he quickly became a top player within the NBA winning the NBA's MVP Award both in 2009 and 2010 James did not win a title with Cleveland and left the city with the status of a "free agent" in 2010.
